AFTP, part of the FTP Studio

Acting For The People (AFTP) launched in 2024 as part of the For The People studio which is home to Improv For The People (IFTP) and Stand Up For The People (SUFTP).

Improv For The People began in August 2008 in a small room in Venice, CA. Each week IFTP grew to the point where a class was added. Then another. Now there are many thriving classes at IFTP, sold out shows, workshops, podcasts, celebrity drop-ins, improv camp, and so much more.

The For The People studio is excited about AFTP, a place where we hone acting techniques, character study, and more…with script in hand. All genres worked: drama, comedy, etc.

SUFTP rounds out the studio with stand up comedy classes, podcasts, and shows with pro-comic drop-ins.
